After almost twenty years in the marketing, communications industry, most recently as a graphic design manager for a mutual fund company, I decided to make a major career change and move into elementary education. I had been involved in education for most of my career as a businesses-in-education tutor, where I would go into intercity school districts as a mentor and tutor for elementary aged students. I currently work in a school district in Texas as a 3rd Grade ESL teacher and I am in the process of completing a second Master’s degree, which will be in Education Management. I believe that all children can be successful with the right start and it is my desire to give children the best educational start possible to assure their success in the future.
